We’re two people who connected over a Tinder swipe and have been happily married since. Together, we planned our own magical farm wedding on Nadene’s family farm, complete with countless fairy lights, incredible food, and the best DJ who kept everyone dancing until 4 in the morning.
Nadene is the event planner by heart and degree, having earned her diploma in Events Management from the esteemed Aleit Academy in the Western Cape. From working in the local film industry to making a round in the corporate business world, she is a planner by heart having planned her very first event at the age of 10 - her mother's secret 40th birthday celebration - these were the days before having Pinterest and Instagram as inspiration. She's a bubbly dreamer who’s all about people, love, and those magical touches—fairy lights, candles, live music, and, of course, a good glass of bubbly.
Louw is our strategic ‘minister of finance,’ the calm and collected thinker who always has a backup plan (or three)! He’s the heavy lifter, emotional supporter, and the guy who’s ready to solve anything on the spot - but it’s not all logistics and strategy. Louw has a heart for people and a passion for creating unforgettable memories.
We love our Country and the uniqueness it has, we love exceptional food and a good glass of wine and we absolutely love spending time with our friends and family - some might call us social butterflies.

We love weddings and marriages, but so many couples got affected by Covid and the restrictions. Like many great ideas, Pop Up was a brainchild born from that.
As the world faced uncertainty, we saw couples struggling with the limitations of traditional weddings. Instead of letting those restrictions stand in the way of love, we created something different—a way for couples to still have a stunning, memorable wedding without compromising on what mattered most.
When the dust settled, one thing became clear: intimate weddings weren’t just okay—they were the new norm. Some couples realized they didn’t need a grand celebration; they wanted something personal, heartfelt, and shared with their closest loved ones.
We also realized that we could also offer full wedding coordination, curating spectacular African experiences for both local couples and international travelers who share our love for this beautiful country.
Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a full-scale celebration, we specialize in creating magical weddings surrounded by the diverse landscapes and vibrant cultures of South Africa.
